[The next reply is not untill late the next day, far past mid morning and almost never lunch time.]
Spring dawn arrives unnoticed in my slumber, Till I hear birds twittering everywhere. It springs to mind a storm raged through overnight, Off it blew how many flowers I wonder?
I can only speak for my experiences, and I only know his are similar to what I am familiar in a way.
He is my Shishu, and though I never met him before, there is still that connection. His plight is related to me as well, though, not directly. While solving a mystery we ran into the end of the story involving him. There was a ghost, she was desperate for help, through empathy I learned what had happened. Xiao Xingchen was a good man, but he was from the mountain and knew little of this wicket world.
I couldn't do anything.... At that time, I was already dead. And when I wasn't, it was already too late.
I met him, both of them, when I arrived here. They didn't know of their cruel fate, I promised myself I would not let them suffer again.
The one who wronged him got what he deserved in the end. But, it wasn't enough.
[How can he not? How can his mother's shidi not be important to him? How can he ignore what he saw of this good man? Of the years he lived with A-Qing? How can he not weep at the thought of him dying again, the way A-Qing hand that day? How could he not take blame? Would Xue Yang ever have been able to avoid his original punishment if it hadn't been for his ability to repair the Stygian Tiger Seal? If he hadn't been a demonic cultivator would he have been able to cause so much trouble?
He had to take responsibility for all of it.
And... maybe he could see a bit of himself in it all as well....]
Is it wrong? I may have only lived through it as an onlooker... but I still lived through his plight.

[Though, it wasn't just that. It was so much. This was a person that was like family, even if he had never met him.]
